Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of the "Smarte BeetIdeen" app (hereinafter "App"), offered by SD Nightshift Studio. By installing and using the app, you fully agree to these terms.

1. Services and app features

The app offers features for visual bed planning, providing care guides, and disease diagnosis (Plant Doctor). Since these are AI-powered analyses, errors in recognition, placement within the image, or care recommendations cannot be fully ruled out. Implementing the generated shopping lists and diagnostic tips is done at the user's own responsibility.

2. Plans, quotas & fair use

In addition to free basic features, we offer paid plans that are processed through your respective app store (Apple App Store / Google Play Store). To ensure high quality and fair server usage for all users, the following limits apply:

• Garden Pass: A one-time purchase without an automatic subscription. Valid for 30 days from the date of purchase or until the quota of 20 AI image generations is reached. Unused quota expires after 30 days without compensation.
• Premium subscription: A monthly, cancellable subscription. Includes access to expert mode, cloud synchronization, and a fixed quota of 60 AI image generations per billing month.
• Plant Doctor (fair use): To prevent API abuse, the AI plant diagnosis is protected by a fair limit (max. 10 diagnoses per day and max. 100 diagnoses per month).

3. Disclaimer of liability & user obligations

We strive for the highest accuracy but make no warranty regarding the correctness, completeness, or timeliness of the AI results. The user is responsible for checking whether the suggested plants are suitable for their location.

• Toxicity & pets: Always independently verify AI suggestions before purchase — especially where filters such as "non-toxic" or "bee-friendly" have been applied — for their actual safety for children and animals.
• Plant health: We are not liable for dying plants or poor financial purchase decisions made on the basis of an app diagnosis or bed plan.

Note on data storage: If your account is deleted or the cloud sync feature is deliberately disabled, your projects backed up in the cloud will be irrevocably removed from our servers. Local data remains on your device as long as the app is not uninstalled.
